Organizations I Support
I am proud to support many local, provincial, and national organizations:
The ALS Society of Canada is dedicated to supporting research towards a cure or effective treatment for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The Society funds research into the cause and cure, promotes education and awareness, and provides patient, family and caregiver support. This disease affects approximately 3,000 Canadians.
Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre (DPNCHC) is a respected multi-service agency located in Toronto’s West End.
Glad Day Lit Emergency Survival Fund for LGBTQ2S artists, performers, tip-based workers and Glad Day.
Heart & Stroke leads the fight against heart disease, stroke and related conditions. Together these diseases are still the number one cause of premature death in Canada.
St. Joseph’s Health Centre Toronto is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto, and accredited with exemplary standing by Accreditation Canada, serving the communities of West Toronto.
Toronto Cat Rescue’s mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.
Their vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.
